My name is Sam, and this is a story about life. Life often has a way of doing things we do not expect. Given the context life can bring you up or put you down on any given whim, but what happens is what happens. Right now, that, "what happens", is pretty damn stupid.
This morning, I woke up and made myself breakfast. Like usual, my parents were gone for work, but they'd left me a note. My dad had decided to buy some scratchers for each member of the family, and had left mine on the table. I knew our family was a little down financially, as it was the reason I started working part time two weeks ago, but this was a little ridiculous.
I'm a 1920 21 year old college student living in San Diego, who gets really stressed over simple things involving his future, and has started drawing in increasing magnitude to get over it.

So it's summer again and every time it's summer I become vaguely aware of how time seems to be accelerating. I guess periods of time just seem shorter after having lived longer.
I understand why people have midlife crisis', but I don't understand the way I feel about things. I've always been a gamer but lately I can't seem to enjoy that hobby at all. I always think there must be something more useful that I could be doing. I am also aware of how little sense this makes. How can playing piano be more or less useful to me than playing a video game? And in all seriousness I'm glad that I've somehow been able to program 30 or 40 hours a
This is probably how I'm going to be drawing for a bit. I've decided I suck at lineart, I'm not precise enough with my tablet, so I'm learning to draw without lineart.
It's fun.
Hope you like the things I draw.
That I'm uploading again. And I've pretty much gotten better. I actually enjoy looking at things that I draw now and spotting flaws rather than just thinking, "Wow this is incredibad." and throwing my tablet in a corner for the next week.
I've also started using open canvas, which may or may not account for any changes. My lines still look better in sai but something about open canvas just really hitoff with me. Oh and it has an action recorder so there's that (Which lead to me making a speedpaint channel that I've been uploading actionlogs to).
Hope you like the things I draw!
